ImpressUs Anti-Collusion & Fair Play Policy

To protect fairness on ImpressUs, users must participate authentically and avoid any activity that artificially boosts their chances of winning Star of the Day or other features.

What Counts as Collusion

Collusion includes any coordinated or manipulative behavior between two or more users that attempts to influence Star of the Day results. Examples include:

Repeated patterns where the same group of users win in rotation.

Users coordinating posting times to boost each other's visibility.

Abnormal engagement patterns between a small group of accounts.

Excessive mutual engagement that does not reflect natural user behavior.

Any activity designed to exploit or “game” the Star of the Day selection process.

Community Guidelines

New Measures to Keep Star of the Day Fair for Everyone

To keep ImpressUs fair and fun for all users, we have introduced a new Anti-Collusion system that prevents certain users from gaining an unfair advantage.

We now have checks for:

Repeated winning patterns

Unusual posting or engagement behavior

Abnormal spikes in mutual interactions between specific users

Any activity that looks like coordinated manipulation

When anomalies are detected, the affected accounts may temporarily lose eligibility for Star of the Day.

This change helps ensure that every user has an equal opportunity to shine

Star Of The Day

Star of the Day exists to celebrate content that shows genuine effort creativity, engagement that reflects authentic user interest, contribution to the overall ImpressUs experience

The award is not designed merely to reward the highest number of likes, but to identify posts that truly embody the spirit of ImpressUs.

To ensure a fair environment, ImpressUs prohibits: “Like-farming,” which includes directing large off-platform crowds to boost a post artificially, posting extremely low-effort content solely to trigger rewards

Any attempts to distort the equal opportunity system.

Examples of prohibited manipulation but not limited to: Posting basic/unimpressive content (e.g., a photo of standing still with no creativity) combined with off-platform like rallies.
Coordinating mass likes through external groups or social media.
Incentivizing or pressuring others off-platform to artificially inflate engagement

ImpressUs reserves the right not to award Star of the Day to content that:
Shows minimal or no creative effort
Does not contribute meaningfully to the platform experience
Receives engagement that appears disproportionate to the effort or quality displayed
Is aligned with patterns commonly associated with like-farming.

This standard gives the platform authority to override raw like counts if the post does not meet minimum merit expectations.

ImpressUs may:
Temporarily review or restrict accounts that repeatedly circumvent the spirit of the contest
Exclude such users from Star of the Day during the review
Remove eligibility for posts that violate the Content Merit Standard
All decisions are made to protect fairness, creativity, and equal opportunity.

Users who disagree with a decision can:
Contact support for clarification
Choose to continue or discontinue participation after reviewing updated policies.
